I would like to take this opportunity to thank all hunters, trappers and the public for their recent input on policies and legislation that will contribute to improved opportunities for safe and responsible hunting and trapping for the 2020-21 hunting season. Our Government recognizes the value of knowledge and input of hunters and trappers and traditional Indigenous cultures to help make responsible wildlife management decisions and we remain committed to future engagements with all those who have a vested interest in wildlife. The information contained in the 2020-21 annual Hunting and Trapping Guide is provided for the benefit of hunters, trappers and those who enjoy our wildlife resources and ensure they have the most up to date information about various hunting and trapping seasons, regulations, and programs that are designed to support wildlife conservation and management. As Minister of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture, I extend my sincere wishes for a safe and successful 2020-21 hunting and trapping season.
